San Francisco  Environmental Schools & Programs Whether you have a specific career goal or are just interested in environmental studies, the San Francisco Bay Area has a school to suit your needs. Located on the tectonically active Hayward fault, California State University, East Bay offers a degree in earth & environmental sciences, while nearby University of California Berkeley has programs for environmental science and earth & planetary science. Aspiring science technicians and conservationists can also choose to study earth sciences or biology at City College of San Francisco. The Department of Geosciences at San Francisco State University lets students specialize in geology, earth science, meteorology, and oceanography.

Our Quarter Away Program allows students to study in up to four other cities. City choices include the fulltime locations and London, Amsterdam, New York, Chicago, Sao Paulo, Prague and Warsaw. This unique masters degree program is one of the first of its kind to integrate social, environmental and ethical values into a core business curriculum. As a student in our two-year MBA program, you'll learn the business basics of managerial accounting, finance, strategic management and managerial marketing with sustainability concepts integrated within each course. You'll also gain the building blocks for managing a sustainable business and implementing sustainable initiatives within organizations. In addition, you'll learn about the human dimension of sustainability -- how to be a better leader, team player and a more effective communicator. Classes are held one three-day weekend per month in addition to regular online discussions and assignments throughout the semester.
